2006

Fox River:
Installed culverts on Reinsbach property to facilitate water flow.
Chetek Lakes:
Purchased 5 additional fyke nets for walleye stocking program.
Okauchee Lake:
Stocked 5,000+ extended growth walleye.
+ more to be done this year with your help and support.

2005

Lake Winnebago:
Constructed 6,400’ of sauger spawning habitat.
Constructed 4 habitat structures on the northeast end and 21 structures on the south end of the lake.
Wolf River:
Opened up inlet to Colic Slough.
Mowed Templeton’s Bayou to remove woody vegetation in the marsh.
Fox River:
Repaired work areas from 2003, washed out by spring high water.
Grand River:
Riprapped below dam and constructed rocked area for walleye spawning.
Green Lake:
Operated hatchery, hatched 3,500,000 walleye eggs and released hatched fry.
Raised 2,000 walleye fingerlings for release into the lake.
Purchased 5 additional fyke nets for collecting walleye eggs.
Purchased pressure washer for washing fyke nets.
Lake Puckaway:
Operated Hatchery, hatched 3,000,000 walleye eggs and released fry into the lake.
Pigeon Lake:
Stocked extended growth walleyes.
Chetek Lakes:
Purchased an 18’ Jon boat and motor for collecting walleye eggs.
Operated 3 portable hatcheries and hatched approximately 9,000,000 walleye eggs.
Milwaukee River:
Provided funding for stocking 10,000 extended grot walleyes in the river.
Worked with the DNR to continue “Milwaukee River Walleye Introduction Program”.
Discussed with the DNR a Milwaukee River site for construction of a spawning area.
Big Cedar Lake:
Continued work on walleye spawning area between Big & Little Cedar Lakes.
Sturgeon Bay:
Operated hatchery and hatched 1,000,000 walleye eggs.

2004

Milwaukee River:
Provided funding for stocking extended growth walleyes.
Sponsored 5 Milwaukee River clean-up days.
Lake Puckaway:
Hatched 2,000,000 walleye fry.
Barron County:
Operated 3 hatcheries, hatched 4,000,000 walleye eggs.
Constructed a 500’ spawning area on Prairie Lake.
Lake Winnebago:
Constructed (2) 1,000’ sauger spawning structures. .
Captured spawning sauger, removed eggs, hatched them, and released 3,000,000 fry into the lake. Constructed 3 habitat structures on the east side of lake.
Purchased second johnboat for sauger egg collection.
Green Lake:
Hatched 6,000,000 walleye eggs and released fry into the lake.
Also released 1,500 fingerlings into the lake.
Fox River:
Installed 2 culverts at the end of the “Berlin Ditch” at the Fox River end.
Adell Hatchery:
Constructed 2 additional ponds and raised 2,500 sauger fingerlings for stocking in Lake Winnebago.
Wolf River:
Stocked extended growth walleyes in the lake.
Pike Lake:
Created spawning area on the lake with the DNR.

Chetek Lakes:
Operated 3 portable hatcheries and hatched 3,000,000 fry.
Purchased 5 fyke nets for walleye capture.
Lake Puckaway:
Operated portable hatchery.
Sturgeon Bay:
Operated portable hatchery.
Big Cedar Lake:
Cleaned out silt in waterway between Big & Little Cedar Lakes to expose gravel area suitable for walleye spawning.
Sauger Study:
Agreed to a 5-year extension wit the DNR.
UWSP Study:
Provided funding for a walleye movement study.

2003

Lake Winnebago:
Constructed (3) 1,000’ sauger spawning structures.
Captured spawning sauger, removed eggs, hatched them, and released 600,000 fry into the lake.
Green Lake:
50 hatching jars hatched 9,000,000 walleye eggs for stocking in the lake.
Fox River:
Removed the White River Dam. Riprapped both banks and constructed 2 wing dams.
Adell Hatchery:
Raised walleye fingerlings for stocking in Little Cedar, Gilbert, and Wolf Lakes.
Wolf Lake:
Provided funds for stocking walleyes in the lake.

2002

Fox River:
Berlin Marsh Complex: Installed (2) 4’ culverts on Kujawa, Treder, Hoppa, and Tomah Marshes to facilitate water flow.
Green Bay:
Constructed the McDonalds Marina Spawning reef at the mouth of the Fox River.
Green Lake:
Hatched approximately 5,000,000 eggs in the portable hatchery and released the fry into the lake. Started construction of 50 jar portable hatchery. .
Lake Puckaway:
Hatched 3,000,000 walleye eggs and released fry in the lake.
Pike Lake:
Added additional rock to spawning area.
Milwaukee River:
Provided DNR with $5,000.00 for rearing walleye fingerlings to be stocked in the River.
Wolf Lake:
Provided funds for stocking walleyes in the lake.
Adell Hatchery:
Provided funding for construction of a pond at the hatchery for raising fingerlings.
Released 2,000 fin clipped sauger into Lake Winnebago.

2001

Lake Winnebago:
Built 14 “Walleye Reefs” on the east side of lake.
Constructed first 1,000’ sauger spawning structure. .
Entered in to a 5 year “Sauger Study” with the DNR in Oshkosh.
Placed fyke nets on spawning structure, captured spawning sauger, and stripped eggs that were then hatched at the UWM Water Institute.
Stocked 190,000 Sauger fry in the lake.
Stocked 2,500 Sauger fingerlings in lake.
Pike Lake:
Provided funding for the construction of walleye spawning area.
Milwaukee River:
Provided DNR with $5,000.00 for rearing walleye fingerlings to be stocked in the River.

2000

Lake Winnebago:
Built 12 “Walleye Reefs” on the east side of lake.
Fox River:
Princeton Dam Road: Installed (3) 4’ culverts at road to facilitate water flow through blocked marsh. Badger Mining Company Marsh: River bank lowered and riprapped to facilitate water flow.
Milwaukee River:
Provided DNR with $5,000.00 for rearing walleye fingerlings to be stocked in the River.
Wolf River:
Canal in new London excavated to facilitate water flow during spawning run.
Green Bay:
McDonald’s Reef spawning area constructed.
Walleye Wagons:
Hatched walleye eggs at Green Lake and Lake Puckaway.

1999

Lake Winnebago:
Built 10 “Walleye Reefs” on east side of lake.
Wolf River:
Funded a “Warden Watch” to deter over-bagging of walleyes during spring spawning run.
Wisconsin River:
Funded installation of well at the Lake Delton rearing pond.
Fox River:
Log diverter installed above fishway at Eureka Dam.
Barbola Marsh “Whistle Tube” installed.
Green Bay:
“Walleye Watch” funded.
Manitowoc:
Built “Walleye Wagon” #6 for egg hatching.
Walleye Wagons:
Hatched walleye eggs at Big Cedar, Green Lake, Pigeon Lake, and Lake Puckaway.
DNR purchase:
Purchased a spine saw for Oshkosh office for ageing fish.
Scholarship:
Gave (2) $500.00 scholarships to fisheries students at UW Stevens Point.

1998

Lake Winnebago:
Constructed 21 “Walleye Reefs” on southwest corner of lake.
Moved 1,600 tons of quarry rock to west shore of lake.
Fox River:
Installed 8’ x 35’ culvert at the Berlin Dam to start the Berlin Marsh project.
Green Lake:
Netted Walleyes, stripped and fertilized eggs, and hatched eggs in portable hatchery.
Milwaukee River:
Provided DNR with $5,000.00 for rearing walleye fingerlings to be stocked in the river.
Walleye Wagons:
Constructed (2) wagons to be used at Wisconsin Dells and Green Lake.
Hatched walleye eggs at Big Cedar, Lake Puckaway, and Wisconsin Dells.

1997

Silver Lake, Manitowoc:  
Installed water control structure and opened waterway for spawning marsh flooding.
Green Lake:  
Started construction of 4th “Walleye Wagon”
Installed “Whistle Tube” on Silver Creek.
Wolf River:    
New London, Rasmussen's Canal, started planning for dredging of canal to remove sediment plug.   Funded larger “Warden Force” on river during spawning season to reduce over limit violations.   Lake Winnebago:  
Constructed 19 rock structures as part of the “Winnebago Reef” project.
Started the “Walleyes Reef” program by building 22 rock structures on southeast corner of the lake.  Constructed second year sauger creel census.
Walleye Wagons:  
Hatched walleye eggs at Big Cedar, Lake Puckaway, and Yahara River.
DNR purchase:
Purchased “Electro Shocker” for DNR South East District shock boat.

1996

Fox River:    
Marsh: Installed (2) 6’ culverts and water control structure to facilitate low water flooding.
Hart & Wiess Marshes: Cut banks and marsh roads to allow greater water flow across marshes.
Wolf River:    
Funded DNR spring walleye tagging program.
Walleye Wagons:  
Hatched walleye eggs at Big Cedar and Yahara River.
Hatched walleye and northern eggs at Lake Puckaway.
Silver Lake, Manitowoc:
Stocked 1,800 walleye in rehabilitated lake.
Became participant in DNR “Walleye Management Planning Committee”.

Walleye Wagons:  
Hatched walleye eggs at Little Green Lake and Yahara River.
Hatched walleye and northern eggs at Lake Puckaway.

Fox River:    
Badger Mining Marsh: Lower dredge bank and riprap.
Iaazak Walton Marsh: Lower bank and riprap bank.
Wolf River:    
Cousins Marsh: Lower bank and riprap bank.
Mosquito Hill Bayou: Lower bank and riprap bank.
Nordel Young Marsh: Install (2) 8’ culverts and build 20’ bridge to allow water flow in marsh.
Larson’s Inlet: Removed fallen trees and brush, which blocked water inlet on upper end of marsh.
Green Lake:  
Funded experimental carp eradication project.
Walleye Wagons:  
Hatched walleye eggs at Wisconsin Dells and Yahara River.
Hatched walleye and northern eggs at Lake Puckaway.
WFT:    
Purchased a state of the art “Shock Boat” for the DNR.
